Unfortunately, there’s a lot of people out there who tend to think that anyone can design and develop a website. While that may technically be true to a very short extent, trust me when I tell you that not just anyone can design and develop a quality website — that takes skill, focus, dedication, and more patience than most people could ever pretend to muster.
One of the major aspects of website design and development that makes our job anything but easy is the veritable laundry list of skills that can potentially come into play. Obviously, I can’t master every single one of them; therefore, I’ve chosen to focus on a core set of skills that I feel [will] meet most client’s needs.
Design / Development
- XHTML – XHTML stands for Extensible Hypertext Markup Language. XHTML is a collection of instructions for your web browser, telling it what information to present and how to present it.
- CSS – CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. CSS is also a collection of instructions, but these are what makes a website visually appealing (colors, fonts, etc.).
- jQuery – jQuery is a Javascript framework. jQuery, yet another collection of instructions, helps create user interactivity and some pretty cool website effects (sliding menus, image animation, etc.).
- PHP – PHP stands for Hypertext Preprocessor. PHP is, you guessed it, a collection of powerful instructions that allow for the creation of dynamically generated websites (blogs, forums, etc.).
- WordPress – WordPress is one of the most popular blogging and Content Management Systems available. It’s estimated that approximately 22,848 websites are powered by WordPress (including this one).
But wait, there’s more!

Anyhow, the above is but a brief and general overview of the core services that I provide. If you’re not sure whether your project quite fits in anywhere with what I’ve listed, then please take a moment to Contact Me — tell me a bit about your project and we’ll start with that. Sound like a plan?
